I love to make beautiful pictures all around the world. When I visit a place, I always take my camera with me. I want to capture beautiful moments of my trip, so that these memories will never get lost and can be shared with others.
On our last day of my voluntary work we were driving back to our lodge. While we were driving, a lot of school kids were walking on the streets because the school had just finished. In South-Africa a school uniform is essential to be allowed to go to school. Children who can’t afford an uniform are not able to go to school. On the picture you can see a girl and a guy wearing a school uniform. While I was in the ‘bakkie’ (a car with a container where you can sit in) I wove to them and shy they smiled back. A perfect moment for me to take this picture.
When we were on our safari, the guide told us to look out for the big five. The Big Five includes the African lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo , leopard and rhinoceros. The members of the Big Five were chosen for the difficulty in hunting them and the degree of danger involved, rather than their size. It was almost already the end of the day and we were all very tired. A lot of us were falling asleep. Just a couple of people were awake. Suddenly we saw something big between the trees. It was a big elephant and I yelled to the driver that he needed to stop. Of course I had woken up everyone. Woopsie 🙂
A big highlight from our safari were the cheetah’s. Cheetah’s are known for their speed. In Kruger National Park the population of this particular animal is around 120. That isn’t a lot, so the fact that we have seen 3 is absolutely awesome. They were walking on the road just 1 meter from our car so we could take beautiful pictures.
At our first day at the kindergarten, we went for a walk around the neighborhood. We went down to a small river. Local people often go to a nearby the river to get ‘fresh’ water. It was a nice location. A local farmer was getting water for his animals. Because I didn’t had my professional camera I took the picture with my I phone and luckily enough it turned out very beautiful.

This picture is taken at the square of the Hassan Tower. I was trying to take pictures but there were lots of people. It was also very hot and there were no trees. After 5 minutes of waiting, I took my chance and took a picture luckily enough there weren’t that many people on the picture just one girl and I actually like the girl on the picture.
The village Essaouira was one of my favorite villages by far. When I walked out of the bus and saw the blue fishing boats, I had to take pictures. The fish they catch, immediately goes from the boat to the table to sell. These people live from the fish and they put their soul into it. You can definitely see that.

It was early in the morning and we were getting ready for breakfast. I looked out of the window and I saw the beautiful houses. The sun was rising and it gave the houses an extra colorful glow. Of course I had to take a picture.
